Lili asked: I can’t think of what to buy my father for Christmas. He’s in his mid(to late)-thirties and is a bachelor. He lives with an old pair of friends- a married couple. He’s works on cars for a living (painting, fixing, detailing, instalation, etc.) and is very interested them. He likes to watch movies, scuba dive, and shop in his free time. He is currently very active in AA. His gift must cost under twenty dollars (I’m a teenager, people. Budget, budget, budget! xD.)
Next order of business: my mother’s boyfriend. No, not my stepfather, my mother’s boyfriend, and yes, there’s a difference. I wasn’t originally going to get him anything, but he just kinda-sorta helped to buy me a DVD that I wanted, so I figure that I’m now obliged. His gift must cost ten dollars or less and be very… unemotional and detacted, but still thoughtful. He is into computers, politics, is a casual dresser, has a (annoying as hell) funny bone, and is really just sorta bland.
HELP!
Okay, another detail about my father: He doesn’t have computer access. At all. And, obviously, with twenty dollars I can’t do electronics.
Also: I can’t do buying things online. I don’t have a credit card, and neither does my mother.
