I have a 80gig hard dive on my laptop and i just got done uninstalling all of my games and unused software which was about 20gigs off of my computer but for some reason when i go to My Computer and right click on the hard dive it still shows half of the hard dive is used up and i removed almost every thing and i even did disk defrag i don’t under stand my hard dive should be at 20gigs but its not.Please help!!!
I did a virus scan on safe mode with AVG and it came up clean i also emptied my recycling bin.My System Restore doesn’t work so i cant use that.

Then I open the BIOS and tried to setup the second as slave drive but on the BIOS only one hard drive is shown which is the primary. One the second drive I have win 98. its cos i have a 500 gb hard drive, i got it for 50 quid, my poketmoney, but now i dont want to break it, so should i keep my hard dive connected to the computer when it is shutting down, or should i safly remove it!”!!

I deleted all the crapware that came with the computer and It only still let me use 85GB…….This was also before I installed my own software and stuff…… How do I use the rest of my hard drive……My friend said that some of the hard drive space is used to hold back up folders and software incase you have to reformat your C: drive…..But 75GB is a lot to hold back up software and files, isn’t it?…..

I want to become a computer technician. One that fixes peoples computers. I have been looking at a few qualifications but dont know if they are worth it.

One is CompTIA A+ and the other is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

Which course could I dive straight into? I know how to build computers and repair them by experience. Which one would companies favour more? And would it be free for a 17 year old in the UK?
