How far should the leaders dress sense be condemned in national gear at APEC for the photo opportunity?
Culturally sensatively, having been trained in cross cultural communications, what does the world want to see APEC clothing develope to? Modern, traditional, or fashionable?
For example, if Australia had, had a gay PM, would it be fair or reasonable to expect another country with very strict religious practices breach protocol to have all leaders in trans gender clothing? How far should the dress sense go when choosing what is suited?
What about speedo swimming clothes, if Indonesia had a woman leader, would say, a full body thorpedo or freeman body suit be more appropriate?
Or now the budgy smugglers and scuba gear became part of the election in NSW can we expect to see this at APEC, and would the Chinese be offended by allegations about Harold Holt?
What would you, if a gay lesbian trans gender Prime Minister of Australia dress the leaders in? Would Presicilla Queen Gear like ABBA be going to far or is the show dead just bury it?
